Australian Federal Police have revealed explosive information the recent spate of alleged antisemitic incidents, including an alleged terror plot, was entirely fabricated by overseas based criminal elements.
Astoundingly, in the hours following the discovery of an explosive laden van in Dural, counter terrorism police already dismissed the notion such a discovery amounted to a ‘mass casualty’ event.
But that did not stop state and federal politicians, and affected representative bodies, in subsequently fanning the flames of a so-called explosion in antisemitism in Australia, and in the process, rushing through far reaching hate speech legislation and increasing funding arrangements for affected communities.
Importantly, pro-Palestine voices were irrevocably tarnished in the process, with genocidal apologists deliberately seeking to exploit an exaggerated victimhood to shut down anti-genocidal opposition.
Much has been revealed so far, but so much more remains unanswered.
Serious questions now need to be asked:
- What exactly did the police know about these incidents, and when did they come to know of these facts?
- Who did the police brief about these investigations, and when did these briefings take place?
- Did state and federal politicians ignore the findings of law enforcement to exploit community unrest for their own political purposes?
- Were affected representative bodies kept informed of ongoing police investigations, and did their public pronouncements reflect the evolving facts on the ground?
- Given ASIO boss Mike Burgess has been publicly warning, since at least 2024, about ‘friendly countries’ seeking to exploit community tensions, what role, if any, do such countries play in light of current revelations?
Given the seriousness of these revelations, and in the interest of public accountability, these questions and more need to be thoroughly investigated with the utmost urgency.
