"it is an obligation on the Muslims to defend any Muslim land that is invaded and that ‘Israel’ in particular is an illegitimate state." What is so special about Israel? If the issue is any 'Muslim land' then how is Israel different to say Greece or India, or Spain and Portugal for that matter? For that matter, from Hizb ut Tahrir's point of view all the Muslim majority nations are of dubious legitimacy anyway, given their multitude of failures including implementing the Caliphate and sharia.
