 Objection of Hizb ut-Tahrir Indonesia Against the Review of Blasphemy Law No. 1/PNPS/1965 on the Misuse And / Or Desecration of Religions Proposed by The Advocacy Team of Religious Freedom As it is widely known, the Law Number 1/PNPS/1965 is about the Misuse And / Or Desecration of Religions. The Religious Freedom Advocacy Team is now asking the Constitutional Court to review the law. If it is carefully observed, the law is part of the state's efforts to protect its citizens from the spread of interpretations and religious activities that deviate from the basic principles of religious teachings in Indonesia. Also, it protects the people from the acts of hostility, abuse, or desecration of the professed religions in Indonesia. |

To begin: Despite the potential of our Islamic Ummah, its vast geographical extents, its many open and hidden treasures, today it is like mere froth upon a stream, she has no power or strength due to the absence of the central leadership that ensures the Ummah as a single entity. |

It is reported in Abu Dawood and Tirmizi on the authority of Abu Darda’ that the Prophet (saw) said: «العلماء ورثة الأنبياء» “The Ulama are the inheritors of the Prophets” |

|  On Sunday 26th of July, Hizb ut-Tahrir Malaysia held its Rajab Conference entitled: "Democracy on it's Death Bed, Khilafah the Ummah's Saviour", in Dewan Cempaka, level 4, Kompleks PKNS, Persiaran Bangi, Bandar Baru Bangi. The conference, which was in remembrance of the destruction of the Khilafah, was warmly received by the Ummah. Around 800 people attended the conference, which started from 9.00AM until 2.30PM.
