| Hizb ut-Tahrir held demonstrations in Karachi, Lahore, Islamabad and Peshawar against the kidnapping and torture of its worker, Arsalan Qamar.
Twenty-one year old Arsalan Qamar is a computer engineer and a vibrant activist for the establishment of Khilafah. Two sleuths of a government agency kidnapped Arsalan on Friday 2nd April at 5 p.m. when he was about to enter a bus at University road, Karachi. He was forcibly abducted and transferred to a black Prado jeep. Then he was handcuffed and severely tortured. He was asked to identify Hizb’s shabab but he remained steadfast and refused to answer any question. In order to break his determination they forced him to inhale some intoxicant powder, which made him partially unconscious, but even then government thugs failed to break his determination. Arsalan was shuttled and severely tortured for about two hours, later they took him to a deserted place at Super highway near toll plaza. They placed a hood over his head, kneeled him down and in order to scare him fired two shots. Eventually they got tired and run away leaving him behind. |

| Hundreds of people attended a demonstration organized by Hizb ut-Tahrir today calling for the removal of Sheikh Hasina and her government and the re-establishment of the Khilafah. The demonstration started from Muktangon and finished outside the national press club. Before finishing the programme, a senior member of the party delivered a speech in which he said, despite the government's repressive measures, Hizb ut-Tahrir organized the demonstration to speak for the Ummah and on behalf of the Ummah. He said the Muslims of the country want to see the back of Sheikh Hasina and her government. Sheikh Hasina is a loyal agent of the crusaders - US, Britain and India. |

| On 13 February 2010, Hizb ut-Tahrir Wilayah Pakistan organized a large rally in Pakistan's financial centre and home to over 20 million, Karachi. This was despite the US agent Zardari's security forces turning hundreds of protestors away, harassing them and demanding their identity cards. The rally protested against the American judiciary's verdict against the Pakistani neuroscientist, Dr. Aafia Siddiqui, after torturing for five years and depriving her of her children; pronouncing our Muslim daughter guilty of an act she never committed. |

Country-wide demonstrations by Hizb ut-Tahrir against Dr Aafia judgment
Only the Khilafah can avenge Aafia Siddiqui and other similar sisters
After being tortured for five years and deprived of her children, America has pronounced Dr. Aafia Siddiqui guilty of an act she never committed. Expecting justice from the American administration, who has even left behind the pharaoh and Halaku Khan in its cruelty, is equivalent to deceiving oneself.
