Global Da'wah - Overseas Events

beirut_con

As many will no doubt have heard by now the first ever "International Media Khilafah Conference" is happening this year in Beirut, Lebanon on Sunday. Delegates and Media Reps of the Hizb from dozens of Wilayaat are congregating as well as hundreds of journalists and media outlets from the world over.

The aim is to project the message of the Khilafah into the mainstream media predominantly in the Muslim world. Already there has been vast coverage of the conference in the Arab speaking lands and specifically Lebanon.

Political pressure for cancellation: The minister of parliament who allowed the conference to go ahead has been under IMMENSE pressure from others to cancel it - he has been cited as saying that he has had pressure from within Lebanon (mainly from the Christians), from Washington, from Europe, etc. However the conference will go ahead inshaAllah.

Delegates are thronging in from the world over and no doubt the Arab media will be covering this. It is of course one of MANY events that have been held around the world during the month of Rajab (the month when the khilafah finally fell) and this conference will be the international conference this year building upon the success of last year's remarkable "Ulema conference".

Alhamdulillah, year after year we see increasing signs of the support for this work across the Muslim world. The ulema', the public, sections of the press, the armies, etc. The work of this da'wah is now firmly rooted in the hearts and minds of tens of millions the globe over. "Ila mata? Thumma takunu khilafah 'ala minhaj An Nabuwwah."

Links and details for your perusal: MAKE SURE TO TUNE IN TO THE LIVE STREAM - there will be an ongoing translation insha Allah.

(Please note: There will be a pre-recorded test broadcast before the live broadcast)

To listen in English it is advisable to keep the volume on the player above to a minimum and the volume level on the player below should be high.
