Hizb ut-Tahrir Bangladesh challenges Hamida Hussain and her entourage to an open debate to defend their secular creed
In a statement issued today official Spokeswoman of Hizb ut-Tahrir Bangladesh, Fahmida Khanom Munni condemned the abusive remarks against Islam and the Ulema by the secularists and feminists Hamida Hussain, Ayesha Khanom, Shirin Akhtar, Hazera Sultana and others. She said their comments regarding Islam as backward and oppressive is biased and a sign of intellectual bankruptcy.
Under the guise of the so-called ‘women development policy’ these agents of Western capitalists wish to eradicate the Qur’an from the lives of the people. Their desire is to see the Muslim women dressed in mini-skirts and bindis. The secularists and feminists should broaden their world view and deeply study the results of capitalism which has made women into commodities of enjoyment with the slogans of freedom and empowerment. Fahmida Khanom said Hizb ut-Tahrir Bangladesh challenges Hamida Hussain and her entourage to an open debate at a date, time and place of their choosing to defend their rotten secular creed. Failing to do so they should restrain their evil tongues.
