The sisters of Hizb-ut-Tahrir - Ukraine, held the first ever Muslim Womens' conference in Ukraine. It was attended by around 835 sisters.

On the day of Jumu'a, 28th of Rajab 1429 Hijri, corresponding to Friday 1st August 2008, Hizb ut-Tahrir Malaysia held events at mosques across Malaysia to commemorate the destruction of the Caliphate on the 28th of Rajab 1342 Hijri corresponding to the 3rd of March 1924.

Hizb ut-Tahrir Lebanon held the third annual conference on Sunday 24 Rajab 1429 AH July 27, 2008. Vice-Chairman of the Central Committee of Hizb ut-Tahrir in Lebanon,Osman addressed the audience. He cautioned against sectarianism in Lebanon.
