 The global financial crisis has brought the world face to face with an imminent global depression. With frequent comparisons to the Great Depression the stakes could not be higher.
What is worse is the evident inability of policymakers to decisively pinpoint the causes of the crisis and implement real solutions. Instead they have wandered aimlessly with policies contradicting everything free market capitalism stands for with the aim of saving it! If anything is certain at this time of great uncertainty it is the need for a new paradigm: fresh and consistent ideas to challenge the systemic fallacies of 21st century capitalism. |
