The housing crisis burst in America, engulfing mortgages and rendering debtors unable to pay their loans. Major banks and financial institutions either collapsed, or came on the verge of bankruptcy. Incited by attractive subsidy packages and public announcements of anticipated heavy profits, international banks and investment funds had rushed to this sector. So the collapse of American banks and financial establishments spread to the world. It is as if America sneezed, infecting the entire world, which has now caught its cold.

As you are well aware we have not sent to you, for a long time, any delegation, nor have we sent to you any message seeking your support for establishing the Khilafah Rashidah. This was because we witnessed clearly that you had abandoned the Khilafah behind your backs and violated the authentic evidences of the Shari’ah which obligate the work to establish the Khilafah.

The Palestinian Authority Regards Bush as its Sincere Friend

American President George Bush, the Killer of Muslim children is visiting the 1948-occupied Palestine within the frame work of his tour of the region which includes visits to Egypt and Saudi Arabia as well. This tour is essentially to participate in the rejoicing and celebrations of his Jewish friends to mark the day of formation of their state on Palestinian lands, the land of Isra wal Me’raj; from where they frightened and chased some inhabitants, butchered others, and forced the rest of them to a miserable life in the refugee camps where they lead a life in conditions of sub-human rubble. Ever since the formation of this brutal state, the Palestinians have not had respite from severe oppression and killing at the hands of the occupying aggressors.

The political struggle in Lebanon has taken a dangerous dimension following the Lebanese Government’s decision concerning the telecommunications network belonging to Hizbullah and its decision to prosecute all those linked to its establishment, and following the response to this from the opposition which came under the framework of a general strike, mass protests, blockages of roads and the deployment of armed militia.
